Maiden Kayak Voyage
So, it begins. H1 and I talked about trying something new. We both enjoy water and wanted something that would also offer some sort of exercise while being relaxing. We tossed around the ideas of a paddle boat, a canoe... kayaks. We settled on kayaks. Two blue kayaks. After diligently (or obsessively) researching, we found a couple of modestly priced boats with high weight capacity. [ let me interject here.... I am not a featherweight, nor am I fond of drowning or large fish. Yes, I can swim quite well, as can H1. However, I do not wish to play in deep water while not knowing what is swimming below me] Anyway, we found a couple of kayaks at a home-improvement store and decided to make the investment.
